DC 40 Help

I had a DC 40 collar that I couldn't read all day last Saturday. I brought it home and tested it at home. It worked fine. Took it hunting again yesterday and couldn't read it all day until the dog was caught. It gave me a message after it lost signal that it was interfering with another user and did I want to change the ID. I said yes and it said it could not becasue the collar was not nearby. What can I do to prevent this?

Thanks,
Jimmy

dc 40

Try deleting it out of your receiver...then re-pair it with it..maybe that will help??

I did that just in case between last week and this one and it assigned the same number. Will changing the ID number manually before I hunt fix this?

^^^Yes. Make sure the ID number you assign to it is not close to the ID of the other collars that are being run at the same time.
