If a guy was gonna build a coon pen ?s

Lets say a guy had 50 acres of woods with 6' fence, electric top and bottom, How would you set it up to train pups? How many coon(males, females)? Any trash? maybe 1 deer 1 fox and1 coyote for breaking purposes. Any tips or advise is appreciated.

Why pen it up??? Feed the heck out of 50 acres with three corn feeders running year round and buy a good shocking collar. You'll have no problem with coon or trash. That's what I do. Works out well!!!

Its already fenced our main objective is to have a safe place to work pups and maybe tune our older dogs under a more controlled situation without having to worry about traffic, land owners, deer hunters and hunter haters. If pups can run loose a couple hours a day it sure takes a bunch of the stupid out of em.

I've thought about building one myself, and considered whether it not I'd intentionally introduce off game. With the acreage you're talking about, I think it would be a good idea to have a separate pen within the pen.
Just a couple acres where you can see what's going on, and have absolute control over the situation.
It would be easy too, as simple as cutting off a corner, or boxing one in. You'd not miss it out of the larger pen...
