tracker classic

has any one had touble with thier tracker classic?this is what mine is doing.they say at tracker that my range.where i live should be close to 6 miles.but was checking the range the orther day would not get a singale over 1/4 mile from them.at a half mile would not even light up/what should i do

Have u sent the unit in and had it tuned up. Mine was like that they said to send it in and have the crystals tuned up worked good after that.

Do you have the Tracker brand collars? I have trouble with a Marshall collar overpowering the signal when its close to another one. Once you get the collars away from each other, or shut one of them off it works fine. I have a Maxima, but its probably pretty similar guts to each other.

The FIRST thing you need to do is check your antenna, coax, and connectors.
