deer hunt with my houndin buddies.
sucks but had to put hounds away for a little over a week and deer hunt. guy needs to fill the freezer. been hunting with mike magorian off here and friend from up north we bear pursue with whenever possible.
been a tough year with numbers way down from ehd (bluetongue) and crappy windy weather.
i missed a dandy this morning on the run through thick trees, only nice buck we had crack at until tonite. most bucks we have seen are 2x2 or 3x3s. don whacked couple skinheads last nite and today me and mike both filled some buck tags. nothing special but both deer well earned and tough running shots. put a hell of spot and stock on mikes buck right before dark, still cant believe it worked. LOL.
mine little 4x4 in back and mikes 6x6 up front. we been having fun even though everyone been sick and fighting bad weather. i swear can plan on getting sick every deer season. LOL.
