Input on dog food

We are a new company starting out and want your input on expanding our variety of foods. What do you feed your dog? Why do you feed it? Are you happy with it?

Purina

Cuz I've tried everything else out there and it is hands down the best for our hounds.

dog food

i try and feed a meat based dog food with about 27% protein

But in todays economy a lot of people look at the best for the price.

Oh and we hate buying 40 pound bags when you can but 50 for the same price and same quality

Input should be less than output. Output should be some turds . More for those not counting and less for turd counters. Then in the output column should be coons eyes counted or ones riding home stiff behind the toolbox in front of the dogbox.

Kirkland.
#1 ingredient: chicken
#2 ingredient: chicken meal

I feed it because it is meat-based and isn't secondhand meat.

dog food

i feed diamond hi-energy. i used to feed purina to my walker and bluetick. about a month after i changed, i could tell a big difference in their muscle tone and strength. they're pretty strong. they perform in the woods a lot longer without getting worn out.

Being in the military I move around a lot and sometimes have to change foods Alaska was a prime example. instead of looking at price or brand names I start flipping bags and looking at ingredients. I look for a meat based food preferably with no corn.
Once I see something I like I then look at price per volume. Strictly looking at protein content can be misleading if the protein in the food is derived from feet and feathers.
To answer the question the food in my area that I found to have the ingredients I like and was very affordable turned out to be
Kirkland from Costco.

Purina

Good consistent feed, no recalls, buy it everywhere, Purina Pro Club, Purina sponsors coonhound events, most importantly dogs do good on it and like to eat it.

In the past I have fed Joy, Sportmix, Diamond Naturals, Retriever, Pride, Pride Pro Series, Black Gold, 4Health, and maybe a couple more but I have come back to Purina every time for various reasons.

Make a food that doesn't have any by-product in it and no grains within the first 5 or 6 ingredients that doesn't cost more than $45 and I will switch.
