A friend has a Valley Creek belt light with the 5100 head its about 1 1/2 years old he is having a problem with the cord. The problem is the cord that came with the light, the ground wire inside the plug has come loose. he tried to sorder the wire back but was unable too . Then he ordered another cord and a couple days ago the same thing happend again he is going to order another cord for it. and also when the light is on it will fluter from low to high. and the side of the switch box will get real warm. I'm not trying to talk bad about Valley Creek or there lights because i have the mini pro II and i love it the best light out there i think. I was just wondering if anybody else is having the same problem with their light and and any suggestions on what he can do to fix the problem. Thanks and good hunting.

Did your friend ever think to call redgy or to send it in for repair? Probably cost more for the cord than shipping would have been.

i would send it back to reggie they are great to deal with and he stands behind what he sales
