i have sold pups with out papers in hand...dont like to, but just happened that way with delay in registering them. it only took about 10 days or less to get papers back and then they were mailed within a few days to new owners.


1) did he have the mom/dad's papers there for you to look at?

2) If so, then pups were eligible for registration.

3) do you know anything about parents? names, etc?

4) YOU call UKC and have them look up the breeder/parents/etc to see if any pups have been submitted for registration.

5) If not, take him to small claims court in his area and plaster his name all over so others will not fall victim.

No he did not. The pups mother was on site, but his father was owned by someone else. The only reason that I know they are UKC registered is because he shows them at shows such as Redbone Days and events like that. He has pictures of them on his website.

I know the show name of his mother, but not his father.

I sent UKC an email about it, but they told me I have to go through the breeder. When I sent the name of my pups mother, they said that they did not have her in the registry.

His name and I'll check on it the best of my ability!I'm from Ohio and the mothers of pups name!sound like crap to me!I'm a blue tick breeder it don't take that long to get papers!
