I know a guy that has used it for a couple of weeks cause of what he usually uses was out of stock. He said that he didn't like it, his dog had healthy looking hair, skin and her hair was shining until he started using that new feed from Purina, still had healthy turds though. But that's only one guy though. So he said he wasn't using it anymore. I'm curious what other people say about it also.

Diamond did my dogs some serious harm. Ike had a huge spot on his hip where hair was frying off from hot spots. Mouse got to the point where she wouldn't even hunt. She had no energy for anything. Thought something was seriously wrong with her. Switched about 4 weeks ago and Ikes spot on his hip is about haired over he is treeing harder and louder and Mouse is hunting back to 100% normal and both their colors look great.

I wouldn't reccomend Diamond to my enemy. Thought it was good at first but that stuff is the worst feed I have fed. I'm telling you Mouse was utterly worthless in the woods on that stuff.

Somebody asked me what type of feed I was feeding when they seen that big spot on Ike told me to switch feeds and im so glad i listened.

I use to say that too but for some reason the Purina products perform way better than the ingredients would have you believe. In the past I have fed feeds with better ingredients than Dog Chow that did not come close to the performance of Dog Chow. I see no reason this Purina feed wont be the same.

I feed diamond naturals extreme athlete. By far best food iv ever fee. Have never had any trouble what so ever. Easiest cleanup iv ever seen. It does stink when you open it but the dogs sure do love it! Feeding 2 full grown hounds I use 40# in about a month.

That's a shame that happened to your dogs man. Iv never had any trouble with it. I fed Purina dog chow for years and always had problems in heat. Since iv been feeding naturals ear for almost two years no trouble now. Give me a call if your ever down this way and we'll turn em loose!

i guess all dogs are different. Main thing is I guess find a good feed that your dogs do well on.

I feed and have fed the sportsmix...dogs look great, have stamina for the late rounds, and its easy clean up.

the whole no corn blah blah business is complete BS!

What was these doge eating before some tree hugger decided to brainwash folks on dogs eating corn?

diamond has and ALWAYS will be JUNK!

My dogs love diamond quit feeding purina because the price keeps going up and the bag keeps getting smaller. I dont have to feed no where near the same amount of feed i feed half as much and the dogs look great!!!!

I'm down on purina period! Fed purina for 20 years with no problems. The last 10 years I've had nothing but problems. Had 3 of the last dogs die with cancer. 1 was a five year old gr nite, 1 was a nite ch walker, and the other was a6 year old lab master hunter. Stomach cancer! Vet said It could be the feed. Not 100 percent sure but I am. Yes, if the first ingredient is corn stay away. Also does any one remember when they would post Bone Ash on the bag? Now they call it crude fiber. Anything in crude fiber 4 or over causes soft tosses in your dog to break down... Liver and stomach cancer!!! Also you guys need to remember. High protein is good for young dogs but not with older dogs. Plus it makes them really hot hunting in summer. Older dogs over say 5 need a higher fat content with some protein. The fat is good for them and they get energy from it. I'm not a vet but raising dogs for 40 years has given me years of knowledge on this subject. The old purina was much better than the economical variety of today.
