Opening Night
I hunted last night with a local young man that I met on the Walmart parking lot last winter. I took Hoss over to his place and we made a couple of drops. It was extremely windy and the spot was pretty steep but the dogs went hunting. We hunted Hoss on two drops with his six-month old Redbone pup and didn't get a bark. We cut his Walker on the last drop and he got treed 250 yards straight off the mountain. We shined it pretty thoroughly and didn't see eyes so we called it a night. Coon were not moving where we were last night although he called his cousins who were hunting over around Creston and they treed a couple of coon.
