In this pic, the older Couple is Jesse Carpenter, and his wife Molly, With their Grandaughter, Hazel Cumberledge, with her Two Young Sons, Gary left, and my Grandfather James Right, and Two Coonhounds!

Love to see if anyone else has old pics with coonhounds.

Coonhounds of the past came in all kinds of different shapes and sizes, it definitely was a lot different than the hounds of today.

Dont know if I can come up with any pics but my grandfather traded foxhounds with Sgt Alvin York and his brother George .... My grandfather lived on the Ky Tn line and the Yorks lived at Pall Mall Tn.......

Here's one I like, it's my Great Grandfather Thomas Seaton Sawyer from Washington County, NC. I never met him, but his son, my grandfather is responsible for teaching me to loves hounds and hunting.

This is my Great Grandpa and Grandma, with my Great Aunt. This is probably not a coon hound but fox hound.



Not quite as old but this one is my Dad and his all time favorite hound that was a BnT x Redbone female.
