Does anyone know if it's possible to reset the unit?

To reset the handheld. Be advised, this may erase all of your user data. I would take out your map card first. To reset :
with the unit powered off, press and hold BACK + MENU + OUT
+POWER for 10 seconds. You can then release the buttons and power the
unit on.
