Early WV season

Was just wondering if anyone had any luck on the first day of our early season?? We seen two bear, one really nice one maybe a 300 to 350 and the other was just a juvenille. We got out run on both couldn't get everyone lined out and had too many splitting off. All in all a very pleasurable day!! If you have any photos don't be afraid to show them off!!!

My son and a couple of his buddys ran one the first morning and ended up treeing it on the Va. side. It was a nice bear about 250. The second one they treed and took. It weighed 198.

She's doing real well. She has made it to about a dozen trees so far and is making the whole race truck to tree. She barks good on the track and at the tree and is starting to strike on the rig some.

Just talked to my son awhile ago and he said they treed a small bear this morning and he was getting ready to go to another tree about dark. Also said two dogs had split off and he thought they were probably running another.

I took the last (youngest) male pup I had out of BO Jangles and sent him to a Trainer. He has been being trained on Bear for the last 3 month. I went up to see how he was coming along, and I was well pleased. We treed 3 and a guy shot a forth on the ground!!

It's been a good week so far for my son. He's treed 8 bear in 4 days although half of them have crossed over in Va. and treed. His dogs have been doing a good job for him this week. Here's a pic of one that was treed in Va.
