Why on earth do you really CARE? Are your really that deaf that you need a fog horn dog or do you just like obnoxious behavior at the tree? I'm sure your hunting buddies are proud of you. You wonder why they stopped hunting with you when you got that big, loud, obnoxious, Tree Dog.

Well I sure want a dog with a big mouth and the louder the better. And no, I don't find it the least bit obnoxious. As for my buddies, if they don't want to hunt with me because my dog is too loud, I guess my response would be don't let the door hit you on the ass.

But I don't think I could pick a specific line of dogs that are especially good at throwing big mouths, the ones I have hunted with came from a variety of lines but they were all Walkers.

id say the louder the better. theres nothing as annoying as listening for your dog or a friends dog and hes so quite you can barely hear him treeing.

In iowa we have alot of hills and valleys and creek beds were i hunt and they can easily drown out a dogs voice, so for me the louder the better.

I guess this idiot! I've never had a problem hearing or hunting a dog with a normal mouth. Apparently there are some really deaf coon hunters on here. You sound really young or maybe you haven't been hunting very long. Understandable though, it's like children and monster trucks... Eventually you will grow out of that phase.

Loud Loud Loud

My Dozer dog is so loud that my buddies thanked me when I finished him. They said they would finally be able to hear and call there dogs in a hunt. LOL I take that as a big compliment. As for loud pups give me a cell number and I'll send you a video of a 4 month old pup out of my Dozer dog that will blow your socks off. Sorry if he's a little obnoxious LMAO. The whole litter is LOUD.

Go to YOUTUBE and look up Night N Days Dozer.

I'm 72 years old be 73 in a couple of months and ran heavy equipt. for about 30 years. I don't consider myself stupid to want a loud dog. But if you're still around and hunt at 72 you may change your mind about wanting a loud dog. But thanks for thinking I must be a really young hunter I was back in 1953 when I first started coon hunting with a 1/2 airdale and1/2 lab.

I think he was talking to me about being young and not hunted much. Which on both counts he's wrong. The deal is. He's the only one that will get on here and try and defend weak mouthed dogs. Why? Because he hunts them lol. That's the truth and anyone else that will defend weak mouth dogs hunt em to. Its a fault in my book. Should be culled

That's funny. Weak mouthed dogs! Obviously your definition of the original post,"Loud,Loud" is much different than mine. My dogs and yours I'm certain are loud. I've owned and hunted with Loud, Loud dogs and they literally kill my ears at the tree. When you have to tie that dog way away from the tree to talk its Too **** Loud!!! Point of fact... I owned a dog out of nailor and the only way you could hear your dog was when mine took a breath. At the tree everyone's ears would ring and buzz until you either got along way away from him or tied him about 40 yards away.

Back in the 60's I had a BIG bluetick that had a poor mouth, I made him a NT. Ch. but decided back then Loud was what I wanted and that's what I bred and hunted ever since. I don't like those dogs that sound like a baby chicken when they open.LOL!

Yes there are more hearing impaired hunters than you think. Alot of us work around alot of machinery ,power tools and loud equipment and have ireversable ear damage. It sounds like I'm sitting in a big southern swamp year round inside or out. Certain pitches I ave trouble hearing no matter how loud they are. I want one where you can't hear yours, that's my music. If I want to hear house dogs I'll walk down a city street.

Personal experience, a LOUD dog does not have to be better to win because you can't call the other dogs. That's not trying to bad mouth any dog or person.

I like loud dogs too.

Y'all are real funny. Your making words up now. Only you said quiet! Not me! I just said I don't like'em Loud, Loud. Don't need them. If you can't hear a normal dog than maybe you need to find another sport... Like drag racing! Maybe you could hear that. I don't know, that might not be Loud enough for you.

Why all the slams and jabs at people? quite frankly you sound like a child who doesnt get his way so they throw a fit.

I understand the point you are trying to make but the slams and jabs are unnecessary.

Maybe try communicating like an adult and less like a ignorant buffoon.

I sound like a child? You might want to go back and read YOUR last post. Not to mention others. Don't worry about me bud, I can certainly take care of myself. No harm done! It's all in fun, some people like Chevys and others like fords. Doesn't really matter to me!!! In 30 years of competition hunting you learn to loose just like you learn to win. Unfortunately for the other guys I usually win!
