Out of curiosity I searched "coon" on craigslist and found some coonhounds on there for sale. You should see the prices listed on these dogs. I guess people think they can fool the general public trying to sell dogs. Just look at some of these and you're sure to blow your top laughing. This search was for Columbia, SC but I'm sure it's probably the same in your neck of the woods.

I haven't checked craiglist but we have a local trading post site here and the coonhounds on there make me laugh.

I see them all the time listed and the ad will read that they will tree 5 or 10coons a night and have never run junk, throws great pups, etc, etc.... Then the price will be like 125$
