Best Breed

so i have a B&T currently that im training and getting tuned up.

But once i get him good and started i want to get another pup to hunt with him.

My question is what breed to get?

is it all about personal preference? or is there some breeds that are just better than others?

I like the look of walkers redbones and blueticks but i just want to find a good strong dog that will get after it -

any input is appreciated -

It is just preference. Their is good and bad in all breeds. Just hunt what you like and enjoy yourself. I like walkers and english but id hunt anything that will do what i like. I would hunt a B&T, redbone, plot or bluetick if it would run track and get vertical to suit me. Breed has nothing to do with anything imo. Its just what you like.
