You know setting here at work now looking back at the events of this past week, Yes there were mistakes made, there were written rules that weren't followed, there were things misspoke but at the end of it all the things that could be corrected was and the things that were mistakes that dealt with timely things that couldn't be corrected wasn't.

I am the owner of Red Hot Sweat and as much as I hate that we didn't receive the National Grand Title, I do understand the rule as written. We went to AO in hopes of just finishing a cast with plus points because we knew how stiff the competition would be. We had just gotten a little glimpse of that 2 weeks earlier in our WV State Hunt when were in a cast with GR NITE CH "PR" Flatrock Stylish Flirt. So to come home with The Autumn Oaks Gr Nite Ch winner was far more then what we left home hoping for.

You can take situations like this and look at them in one of two ways, either a positive way or a negative way. There will always be what ifs but overall we are looking at it in a positive way. For myself, it was the first time ever attending AO. Friday night was only my twelve cast I have ever hunted in. It has made me look at my dog differently, seeing what a huge heart he has and willingness to please. It should have shown others that if it is Lords will that ANYONE can accomplish big things.

I have met some great people this past week in person and on the phone, and to each of you I have greatly enjoyed our conversations, and looking forward to many more.

I just want to say thanks for all the nice words about either "ROCK", myself or Mikyle. I hope that we have shown the type of people we are and have demonstrated good sportmanship throughout every cast we took place in and everything that surrounded this event.

Thank you UKC for this great event and hopefully we may one day have the honor to take part in the great Final 4 cast again that comes from this great hunt.

Mr. Toler,

I have never met you, but based on this post and what I have read, you are a class act. It would be easy, and most would, cry and complain, and feel that they were robbed. You look at this with a "cup half full" mentality and I commend you for that! I also commend Allen, for "Manning up" and admitting a mistake he made. I am very impressed with how you have both handled this situation!

I know first hand how tough the hunting was this weekend. My Grand Nite Cast on Friday failed to tree a coon. We made 2 trees and 1 hole in an hour. Very few times in my 29 years of hunting can I remember things as tough as they were this past weekend.

Congrats to you, and all dogs in the top 16! I was one of the many who were wishing we got to stand in the top 16 with you!
