Goodbye Garnett Gordon

Garnett Gordon, a lifelong coonhunter from Kirksville, Missouri, passed away this morning. He was a hunting buddy and friend to many, and devoted his life to the sport of coonhunting. Arrangements will be decided tomorrow when his daughter gets in and I will post them. Goodbye Garnett--you'll be missed.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Garnett. I did my first apprentice for Bench Show Judge and Master of Hunt under him Worked many shows and hunts through the years with him. He was as good as they get and will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

It was good to know Garnett over the years. He was an icon in Missouri and I always enjoyed talking with him. It's amazing how our coonhounds bring such great people into our lives. My thoughts and prayers are with the Gordon family in their time of loss.

Garnett Gordon

Was one of the Bench Show Judges I served aprenticship under back
in the late 60's. At that time we were hunting the same line of
English coonhounds. Garnett was a goodn. RIP my old friend.
