Pedigree Question

Hi,

I was wondering what it ment on my dog's pedigree when it said under his name "Registered In The Stud Files". I'm just curious, if anyone could let me know I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for your time!

That's an old dog registry term which simply means your dog is registered. Back in the old days registries actually had stud books - a book of breedings and each litter was recorded in it. Some registries would say "in the stud files", some would say "in the stud books", etc. We still have the original stud books here from 1898. If you are ever in our area, please stop by and I'll be happy to show them to you.

HR

Sara,
Where can I find out how many, if any, GWP's have ever earned a HRC HR title?

UKC offers research to help our customers in their personal quest for information. Currently UKC has no programs that offer this information so one must be established.

Your question: How many GWP have earned the HRCH title?

Cost of this Query: $15.00. Our report will give you the names of the dogs, their titles, the owners names, city and state in which they reside and the date the title was earned.

If you accept this quote, please forward a copy of this email with the fee or you may call Peggi Bickell at 269-343-9020 with your Master Card or Visa, or you can email back the credit card information. We would need:

2. Card number
