Trap help needed

A few years ago I saw an add for a new live trap that bolted to the front of a 5 gallon bucket, I havn't been able to find these or who makes them. Anyone know the answers to my problem. I have a couple of havaharts but would like to try one of these, I think the cost differential was considerable.

Charlie,

I have made a couple of these, they work O.k. but I prefer the cage type and I hardly use the barrels.

For one thing the coon just dont seem like they want to crawl inside a barrel, I can catch more coon faster with the cage traps..........and its almost impossible to get a coon out without pulling it kicking and screaming with a hog catcher.

"the snare shop" is where I got mine, I believe they have a website.

bucket traps

I have 2 bucket traps that i got from the snare shop. The have a web site i think. THey work good in places where coons normally would go in buckets or other junk. Like in junk piles, old houses, barns and stuff like that they work excellent. I have caught probably 20 coons using them and peanutbutter and marshmallows. Placement is everything with these traps. Hope this helps.
