Went hunting tonight for a little while. Took my dog Bo my young female Jill, my buddy took his GRNITE Jed and his young female Abbie. Turned the dogs loose and Jed struck in about 5 min followed by Bo. They were cold trailing down through a holler and then Bam bo pulled up treed. Well Jed kept going and then he pulled up treed. I could here Jill in there with them doing something?? Well we went to Bo and he had a coon tyed him up and went about 75 yds out the hill and Jed had two. So we dropped one out to jed and the pups and then took this coon out to Bo and shot and threw it down to him. During all this time my light went dead (forgot to charge it)so we called it a night and came on in. Wish I would have took my camera!LOL

Im glad to hear that you had a good hunt cause i went out tonight and it was disasterous!....We went out with a buddy's young female,Mel, and my pup Gem....At first they were doing real well, we thought they were workin a hot track and were about to tree...I caught up with gem because i thought i smelled skunk and boy was i right, she got it good!....we proceeded on but we had to walk under a barbed wire fence....we got through that and they were in the middle of a cow pasture on the farm next to ours....the cows were away for the night but the fence on the far side of the field was electric and still on....poor little Gem got the sh** zapped out of her on top of being skunked!...she took off in a flash of yelps and hollers....so we leashed up mel, the other dog, and decided to head for home hoping Gem would work her way back in the same direction....we finally got home and my buddy loaded up his dog and we went down the holler to call for Gem and sure enough she came a runnin....boy was she glad to see us!....What a bad night!

Yeah he is as nice a hound as a man could ask for. I have a young female out of him that is a fireball and plan on getting some more out of him later on. I like what him and hisa pups have showed me!!
