Anybody start to run any boars yets?

Past couple of nights I've had some good running tracks. Just wondering if anybody else is starting to run those late winter long tracks.

Three nights ago I saw a coon in my trash went and got my puppies and turned them in on it and about 45 minutes later turned a old dog in on the track to see if they where actually running the coon that I saw or if they had hit something off and it still took her another two and a half hours to get in on the wood.

Coon are starting to run hard in Indiana. Put one about a mile across acouple corn fields and in the only standing treeing in the field the other night it was a pretty good size boar coon. Starting to run some really nice tracks, making alot of dens.

Turned my pup out the other night and he jumped hard and started moving a track real fast. I tried to catch him at the road about 3/4 mile away from were I turned him out cause I thought he was running trash. Couldn't get there in time and he crossed wen't about another 1/2 mile and treed, luckily I still had permission to hunt there. Walked in and he had a monster old boar treed. Before I got to the tree it jumped and my pup caught it. Biggest boar I ever saw, I am having tanned to hang on the wall.

Long Tracks

Yeah, monday night I treed one about a 1/4 to a 1/2 mile away. Took me 2 & a 1/2 hours to get to the dogs around a goat gutty swamp, real good chase. Last night treed two and each ran the same way, hard and about a 1/4 to a 1/2 mile. The last one treed in a pine tree. The dogs were putting the pressure on him some kind of fierce running up a drain on the river. Love it!

not much happening here in northern indiana.you can tree a few coon, but almost no tracks and the boars ive looked at show little sign of the big urge.
i predict it will be 2 weeks before we get into the full fledged mateing season here.

Past 2 nights I have went we have had some heck of runs. Last night treed two on two drops and they were long drops!! Then last tuesday I went out back and cut my two females struck at the bottom of the mountain ran about a half mile to the left then straight up almost to the top of the mountain. Got there they were split treed and both had big ol boars! Oh turned loose at 630 was struck by 645 and I ended up getting back to the truck at 1045. Now that was a night but worth it to see my girls split and have the meat!

Boar coons

I've knocked out 5 coons in the last couple weeks and every one has been a good sized boar. Haven't run them real hard except for one that went about a half mile. Made one tree that had three grown coons in it. Knocked one out and it was a boar.
Been getting a few den trees also.

The tracks haven't been real long but I have noticed that the boars have all had swollen nuts. Well the ones I have shot out.

For the past week we have been having some great races here. We have noticed the boars being ready also. Course last night we ran a female for about a 1/2 mile from where they struck, sure would have figured it for a male.
