Summer goal....any takers?

Being a teacher and single (again) I am planning a trip to Vancouver. I have been planning on flying but have something in mind. I would like to drive out that way and hunt in as many different states as possible.

That is my summer goal, see how many states I could coonhunt in this summer.
Any takers on this. I think it would be fun. I have a tent if any of ya have a place for me to pitch it. Although, when I get into country with big animals that can eat me, I might have to get a hotel room.

Take a detour and come on down to the west part of central Texas.I have an extra bedroom so a tent won't be neccessary here.Besides we'll hunt all night and sleep in the day time when the temps will be 100 or above so a tent might get a little muggy unless it has central air LOL.

Stretcher,

you better not go huntin with all them guys without stopping here
on your way. We realize that only the river seperates us and the country looks the same but we also have extra rooms and you won't have to sleep in a tent. I think you have directions to our place.

Tommy-
Vancouver is in British Columbia, Canada.

This is my goal anyway....the way gas prices are going, I might only make it to about Nebraska lol.

Thanks for all the invites so far. I will be without a computer after tomorrow.

Shoot me your emails and when my trip approaches, I will contact you.

Also, my phone # 765-376-7957

I live right on your way

feel free to drop on by. I am 1 mile north of I-90 about 16 miles west of the MT/ID border. Vancouver BC is about 8 hrs away.

My family lives in between the two Vancouvers and frequent both often (are in BC this weekend).

Bear training season ends July 31 if you want to come out. You don't have to worry about being eaten, lol. I have spare room to sleep and nothing gets in my yard that is harmful Bears pretty much avoid my place and prefer to hang out and McDonalds in town.

I dunno, lol

I know what stretcher looks like, lol. He seems harmless and I know as a teacher that he's passed FBI check. lol. I guess it depends on what the last fingerprint cards looked like when you had them done, lol. Were they red or blue? lol.

Tommy- I left this out...I am a Special Education teacher....8th Grade LD, was high school for 4 years.

Starplott- What if the bears don't know it is just "training season?" Thanks for the invite inside....I guess I am one up...no kennel time for me I have sent some correspondence with a couple schools in BC. A little too late to relocate but if it could work out smoothly I would love to. Real estate seems pretty high around there....that or I don't know what the Canadian/US exchange rate is lol.

Mulerider- Always wanted to hunt by mule!!!

well

as long as you don't go throwing yourself at the bears you should be fine, lol. I have plotts and they don't know what training season is either, lol.

usually runs close to $750 per $500 US. Yes it is expensive up there. You would be better off living in WA state, lol. WA state's not cheap but they pay their teachers better than some of the other western states and have no state income tax. Plus they don't charge you by the liter for gas, lol. the exchange rate wouldn't matter if you are living and working there as you will be paid in Canadian anyway, lol.
