tonites hunt
we took 5 dogs tonite 2 well balanced coondogs( rustys bob and eddies female) and 3 pups....(my dutchess, nicks daisy, and eddies male pup) turned em loose bob struck quick....a few secs. later dutchess struck followed by eddies female then nicks daisy.....bob treed then eddies female treed......dutchess ran up to the tree and barked a few times then left....on the way down there dutchess had another track taking it back up the creek idk if she was backtracking or if she had another track....but she came back to bob and eddies gyp i tied her back we shot the coon out to daisy and eddies male dog....dutchess was getin tore up i went and turned her loose for about a min. or 2 on the coon then pulled her off thinkin that that would give her some drive for the next drop and o boy how it did
she struck 1st and treed 2ed didn stay there long enough to put a lead on her she took off again......had the coon where bob was treed.....im thinkin shes gonna make a dog.... shes had her share shot out to her...anybody else go out tonite?
