What a thanksgiving!!!!!!

I got a call last night. My 1400 ac hunting club here close to the house has been sold. That was the last of the big woods I had to coon hunt on.We are not supposed to be back on it after the 1st of JAN.This just makes me sick!!!!!!!Looks like coonhunting in my neck of the woods is just about a thing of the past.To many houses popping up everywhere you look.I'm gonna try my best to find another club.I cant even guide a cast now out of my home club.On the positive side looks like my dogs will get a bunch of fur in there mouth in the next month!!!If any of yall north ga hunters know of any clubs around cherokee, dawson, lumpkin counties. Please let me know!

I know the feeling of losing hunting places. My advice would be to stop going for all the timber company hunting clubs. Make friends with some FARMERS that own some PRIVATE LAND and try that route. Good luck.

Sheep this was private land.Farmers are a thing of the past in these parts.I still have some tight spots to hunt but I dont like them real well.Maybe I'll run across some big timber somewhere!
