They don't work for fleas. Comfortis is the best thing working right now. $ 15.00 a pill for dogs over 100 lb. I cut them in half so it cost me $7.50 a dog.
For the yard go to do my own pest control . com and get you some Talstar. It takes 2 oz. per thousand sq. ft. and will kill for 3 months. It kills 70 differant kind of bugs and safe enough to use in the house.
Put it on with a water hose sprayer in the yard. That sight will be the best thing you will ever read for fleas.
I got an IGR to go with the Talstar. IGR is an insect growth regulator. Keep the hatching eggs from ever getting big enough to bite. I sprayed mine after the eggs hatched just becouse I didn't want to wait for them to die.

at a vet and give once a month.... cant give to under 4 month old pups and hasnt been determined how it will effect a stud dog... make sure you feed before giving it as it tends to make some dogs sick
