if you are a licensed master of hound and your at a local hunt and you are in charge, do you have the option to run the hunt under the hunt director format or do you have to run it as a master of hound ???-------HUTCH

I have a MOH license, but I have run hunts as a hunt director.

The club decides MOH or Hunt Director. That is a club decision, not the MOH.

You could if the club chose to use the HD format. Again, that is the clubs decision, not MOH's.

it is a club decision as stated. my question, why would the club want to use a hunt director format, with a moh there that won't charge anything, when there much less work in no panel crap etc...with an moh format? Yes, you would have to take into account the moh's knowledge of rules, but then you also have to do the same for a panel, times 3.

yep...and thats the only advantage one can find in it. If it was where a hunt director could hunt...then it may be more worth the trouble.
