Treeing Contest - Help?

I have a great dog, 2 years old.. He takes first place in the contests... UNTIL he steps outside the circle... We were at a show today, and he woulda took first .. and at the last seconds he steps out.. Anybody have any ideas on how to get him to stay in the circle???

Pactice

Find some woods close to your house get a cage coon hang it just as high as your club does paint ya a circle . To traine him not to back out circle put a stake at botom off tree and put 3 to 4 feet chaine on stake and chain him to the stake do this for a few days 2 hrs a day when he starts to realy tighten up on tree take him off chaine and see if he will stay if he will stay in for an hr or beter really tell him what a good dog he is and pet him up good . This shoud help ya dont be afraide to go back to the chaine if he dont get hang off it at first . Also when you hunt him as soon as you get to tree tie him up as close as you can to tree and if he has the coon pet him up good .. These 2 things shoud help ya . But him being a male is a handecap for a tree contest as people bring females in heat to these and when a female puts that sent out side circle most males gota check it out .. An old man showed me this and he wone a tone tree contests i never did a lot off it but i did it a few times to get pups going
