Changing your garmin collar to dayglo

I want to change my collar to dayglo..can we do this ourself or does it need to be sent in....

You can do it yourself. The first one took me about 45 minutes I've got it down to about 10 minutes a collar now.

Youll have to cut the transmitter wire out of the nylon collar as its sewn in the collar.. Be careful not to cut the wire.. MAKE SURE NOT TO BREAK the brass tabs off of the transmitter plug when you re-attatch it.. When you plug it back in pull the rubber gasket back and plug it straight into the socket.. Its not hard as long as you pay attention..

If your collar is a DC40 it is 2 screws and takes about a minute.

If the collar is a dc40 its already on a dayglo collar and theyres no need to change it unless the collars ripped..

I changed all of mine to different colors and changed their names in my 320 to the collar color.
