We hunted 82 Friday night, showed 42 officially Saturday with 7 additional due to optional classes for a total of 49 dogs. Kids bench show was fun, lots of raffle prizes given away.

Saturday hunt was lower turnout; rain came in HARD about 45 minutes prior to hunt deadline...weather report was not looking good....however by drawout it was nice out again. We took ~ 53 entries Saturday. I will try to have a final report by Sundat afternoon.

I would like to thank ALL the vendors, sponsors, kennel sponsors with the raffle baskets for all their help and support at this event. We feel like we have stepped up the state event a notch or two and hope to continue to climb upwards and make it better from year to year. Again, THANK YOU!!!!

Thank you to the North Carolina Coon Hunter's Association for the opportunity to judge the prestigious State Championship show on Saturday. It was a true honor for me to put my hands on such a fine group of hounds. Quality! The ring setup and the awards were outstanding, proof of the dedication and hard work of the hosts. Support this association! They are doing a great job for coon hunters in the Great State of North Carolina. Congratulations to all the winners each day and night.
