It is a hunt test for one dog. Dog has one hour to tree coon without faulting out. I dont know right off what all the faults are. It is either a pass or fail test. This link is where all the rules are posted.

some of what i remember

i may be wrong on some of these and dont remember them all but....the dog must go hunting by its self...cant walk the dog to hunt it....hounds must open on track..curs dont have to...dog must stay treed for 5 minutes...off game is a fault...issues handling dog at tree truck or during hunting time is considered a fault...if the dog bites anyone thats also a fault...if the dog slicks thats a fault. if it quits the track thats a fault...

dont quote me on all of these but i believe that covers alot of them...

iv been to a few htx hunts and i liked them...

It was $10 to enter and You win nothing. If your dog passes 3 hunt tests it gets a HTX title after its name on the papers.
