heat question

How long has it taken your gyps to line back out after coming into heat? I always hunted males but found a nice young gyp who hunts hard. Since she came in she has gotten just plane silly.

They're all different, no hard and fast rule as to how long or even if their heat cycle affects their behavior. I have had females that would turn absolutely goofy/stupid for month or more before, during and after their heat cycle. I've had several that you would have no idea they were in or near a heat cycle without checking the calendar. I also had one that had homicidal PMS during her heat cycle, any male that showed any interest in her or got near her would get thrashed. That was the only change in her behavior.
Fortunetly, they're only in heat a couple times a year.
