Next big time Walker?

What young dog out there do you think will be the next big time dog in the Walker breed?

NITECH LIPPERS STYLISH CADE

Just a guess but he is really doing something in our neck of the woods and he is in the hands of one of the best dog handlers in the nation, George Majors. Cade has been in 5 ukc casts, 2 firsts and a third to nite ch and has one win to grand as of two weeks ago. I also heard he has won over $700 just in the month of June.
Not bad for a young dog not even two years old. He is off Lipper semen and a Grnitech female off Grnitech Babes Stylish Banjo. I was told they are doing some test breedings to some top grand nite females. I'd say get ready!!!

Thanks!! We've worked really hard with these puppies...

These are the two that we are going to keep out of the litter that we raised by hand and bottle. It was fun, but tiresome!!

Not to be mean, or anything, but why do people just assume, that because a dog is pretty, that it is a good coon dog? I was just wondering. We have taken the black puppy to several hunts with us, and everytime someone sees him they're like "I bet he'll make a heck of a dog." or "He'll be a good coon dog." or "Now that has the making of a coondog."

Why do you think that people focus so much on the way a dog looks?

I hunt black dogs, but I guided the Cade hound that George Majors is hunting at our added purse in Neveda acouple of weeks ago. He is a nice young hound with the looks and hunting stlye to go with it. I can see that he could be the next one.

I think alot of people see that when getting a pup you're taking a chance on it anyway, why not get a "pretty" pup.I don't mind a "tick" or two but if it's spotted up bad i would just get a redtick..lol....

I think the Wipeout line of dogs from Tenn. will be the next "must have" line of producers.

Walkerfield, From what I hear Cade is coming on strong. I think he has as good as chance as any young dog out there.

Cade is out of the Houses Lipper Semen and my Grand nite female Sackett Jrs. Stylish Jill (Littermate to Fletchers Jake) who is out of Sackett Jr and Fletchers Ann

Texhog I told Johnny also he should have never got rid of that dog, but for some reason those Texans never listen LOl.

Thanks Scoot....

I new it was something like that. lol He is really coming on strong and is a good looking dog too. I would love to breed something to him when George gets him superstaked. I have a nice female off Stylish Harry and a Nitech Nailor bitch we should have finished to Grnitech by the end of summer, I bet he would cross well on her. I havent heard him in the woods but they say he has a mouth out of this world. George got in the final four at the nitelight hunt in Clarksville, Ark. weekend before last while I was there. Tough lil' hound and with George behind the wheel you have to respect a team like that.

Walker ( Nose)

I have saw a dog at a hunt in Indiana, the dogs name was World Wide Nose.
He was only 1 1/2 years and was awsome. Totally independent and knew how to tree coon. Keep an eye on him. The Owner/Handler doesn't have a lot of resources so he may not make alot of hunts but watch for him.

I might be able to come up with something for him, I know where there are a couple of nice young ones, but they are niteheat bred, not Lipper bred. Do you think he would swallow his pride and try new blood?

It will be good to see you both again.

HEY

YOU HAVE A WORLD CHAMPION THERE ........WHY HAVEN'T YOU BEEN HUNTING HIM IN SOME REAL HUNTS.......THERE ARE NOT MANY LIKE THE DOG YOU DESCRIBED HERE SO A WORLD HUNT TITLE IS WAITING FOR YOU. THAT LAY UP ABLIITY IS SOMETHING THAT IS HARD TO FIND, AND BELIEVE.I HAVE HUNTED WITH PEOPLE THAT SAY WHAT A LAY UP DOG THEY HAVE , AND SHINE COON RIGHT WHERE THAT LAY UP DOG JUST WENT THROUGH TO GO HUNTING........NO I HAVE NO GOOD LAYUP DOGS, AND REALLY HAVE TROUBLE DETERMINING WHAT ONE IS.........ITS TRUE YOU WILL SEE DOGS THAT WILL JUST FALL TREED, AND YOU/ME/HE WILL YELL THATS A LAY UP WHEN IN FACT WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE SITUATION MIGHT HAVE BEEN THAT CAUSED THAT DOG TO TREE ON THAT TREE. MAYBE HE/SHE JUST RAN RIGHT UPON THAT OLD COON HEAD ON.

Scott, I dont think he would care as long as the dog has a big mouth, decent looking, independant, hard treedog, oh yea, of course it must go a "big" hunting. Thats why I think he should go ahead and buy a 2 or 3 year old and get exactly what he wants.

HoundDog:

I must have drawn out with you at Indiana. I want to thank you for noticing my young Walker dog. He is still doing good. I hope to be coming to Indiana and hunt in the Eel River hunt on Saturday. Any time you would like to see World Wide Nose in the woods just give me a call. And we will set up a hunt. If you have a female, the stud fee is $200 and negative Brucellosis test required. I am not going to stop hunting World Wide Nose in the hunts. I have too much fun with him in the woods, to do that. Thank you for noticing World Wide Nose.
