dog bedding ?

what does everyone use , im looking for something that doesnt break down and be as dusty as straw and cedar chips. i use both and they break down and causesmy dogs to get congested, any ideas?

This time of year I use 2x4's and scrap carpet. Make a frame and use roofing nail to secure the carpet. When they wear the piece out flip over and nail some more carpet on the other side.

Boy never would have thought about that great idea!Gonna have to put this project on the list of to do's. I install carpet so that'll be easier to come buy than anything too!

In the summer I use cow mats, you can buy them at most farm stores, I cut them to what ever size my dog house is. they last forever and seem to be soft enough. You can buy them in 1/2" or 3/4". I get the 1/2" they seem a little softer.
