WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE STORY OF THE YOUNG MAN KILLED IN FLORIDA BY THE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PERSON?


I WAS TOLD THAT THE PICTURES THEY USE EVERYDAY IN THE NEWS ARE TWO TO THREE YEARS OLD. THEY SAY IF YOU SEE A PICTURE OF HIM FROM THIS MONTH HE LOOKS LIKE A THUG. I HAVE NOT SEEN ONE.

MY QUESTION IS WHY DID THE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH GUY HAVE A GUN. HE WAS NOT A COP ON DUTY. I KNOW THAT FLORIDA HAS THE RIGHT TO CARRY PERMIT ( WHICH I AM ALL FOR ).

JUST WONDERING WHAT EVERYONE THINKS. I THINK IT WAS A SHAME FOR SOMEONE SO YOUNG TO BE KILLED. BUT HAVE WE HEARD THE FULL STORY?

the kid that got shot prolly did something to the other guy and prolly got what he deserved. If parents could whoop their kids when they need or deserve it this kind of thing wouldnt happen and prisons might not be as full as they are.

I say to hell with em down there and that goes for the black panthers and obama. The shooter has a freaking witness. Witness says that 6'3" teen was beating the tare outta the guy. Id have shot him to. Its not against the law to carry a gun. I always have one. Plus they "obama"say all kids look like this one"gangster look" by gosh they don't here. Google the story about 2 black youths burning a white kid. How come nobody didn't revolt and make wanted dead or alive posters??? Why didn't el presidenta weigh in on that one??

Well , I don't think the guy should have approached the kid.
But , at the same time , the kid was suspended from school , so I don't know how "innocent" he was either.
So , no , we don't know the whole story.

I wonder where Al Sharpton , The Black Panthers , and the media were on this one........

If the youth had any business in that area he would not have minded being approached. He should not have jumped on the man for questioning him. The neighborhood watch program is good. That fellow was protecting his area. If I saw someone suspicious in my neighbors yard I'm going in armed. People don't want to face the fact that thugs need to be put in there place. If he would have been white nothing would have been said. The media puts Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton on TV. They speak of outrage towards the whites. You never hear them say we are going into the itercity tonight and try and curb some of the black on black violence. The sit and wait for a useless peice of scum to meet there maker from a fed up white homeowner. Then they pounce like a bear. If you don't want bodily harm done to yourself stay off someone elses property.

In the end i bet this turns out to be a justified shooting, but in the meantime the gun control nuts will get alot of mileage out of the incident with the poor black child crap.

I think it is a very unfortinant situation on one hand after several robberies in the neighborhood I am sure a black man in a gated white community sparked some suspision the guy called dispatch who said a cop was on the way and not to approach the boy (If he had of listened the boy would prob still be alive ) The boy had no buisness in the area and when approached apparently he attacked neighborhood watch guy instead of cooperating and explaining himself (no one knows exactly what happened at this point) My biggest problem with the situation is that on the 911 calls you can hear the boy that got shot screaming for help please help me and then you hear the gun shot so it is hard for me to imagine he was in a dominate position bashing the guys face on concrete while screaming for help I guess the investigation will eventually turn up all the info on what happened that day seems everything went wrong that could go wrong and I pray for both families involved

He says he stopped following and was returning to his car when 911 told him too. An eye witness says it was the shooter screaming, not the kid. By the way, Obama is as white as the shooter is. He is a Latino.
We will never really know what all happened. The thing that needs to be addressed is the million $ bounty. This is a crime and will lead to nothing good.

I would say the media is to blame for 90 % of the confusion the report I watched that played the 911 tape said the boy was the one screaming for help I do agree they manipulated photos of both ppl involved to make the shooter look like a criminal and the boy look very innocent but I blame the media for a lot of crap

At first, I thought it was a tragedy, young upstanding black youth minding his own business, now I`m hearing more detail on what happened, and I`m thinking it was justified. I wonder if he can get a fair trial with all the media trying to influence America?

When it comes down to it a neighbor hood watch person should not make contact with a suspect. They should keep there mouth shut and call it in.
Then the one he is questioning should not start whaleing on him either. He should just tell him to mind his own buisness or call the cops and let them question me.
Both were in the wrong as I see it. If the kid attacked him first though he had the right to protect himself.

The guy that did the shooting should get his right to carry taken away though. Sounds like the power goes to his head like it does a lot of cops.
