training ? please help

i have a pup that runs track with other dogs pretty good but not yet starting to tree yet have shot about 10 coons out to him an the others dogs he fights a coon great i just need help on how i could get him to start treeing any help will be great thanks

why give him a coon when hes done nothing ?? i would tie em back for a couple of months not give it any thing except to watch what is going on jmo

What breed and how old. I'm different but I don't mind if treeing is the last thing a dog starts doing.

It'll probably click any day now. Let him try some by himself. Sometimes they get in a habit of letting other dogs do it.

tie him back and dont let him have the coon, dont pay him any mind. when your finnished at the tree with the other dog grab his leash and walk out, still dont pay him any mind at all.
do this a few times and he will get the message, dont let him have any more coon untill he trees .
