my 5 yr old son is obsesed with hunting being a dairy farmer i dont have time to hunt alot but ican coon hunt so wegot 2bkt pups 5mo 7mo for xmas but he wanted to hunt know so we bought a4yr old the 4yr old opens big on track but idont think he trees unless he sees the coon what should we do also what &how should westart the pups they were guarnted to tree by 1yr they do track and tree cats &chickens think igot the chicken prob fixed we showed them acaged coon 1 time they went nuts times after not much intrest so what should wedo any help or advice would begreat

first off dont use the 4yr old to train them pups cause the pups will pic up all his bad habits. second dont be disipointed if they dont tree a coon by a 1yr old. just keep hunting them and showing them as much coon as you can. get a coon hide and do a few drags , make it easy for them, short stait drags to start. once they get good at that make it a little harder for them. all you need is time and patience. good luck.
