Females or Males

In your opinion which is the quickest dog and which would you prefer on a track. I know some dogs can work out colder tracks, but on medium to hot track which do you think is the quickest and which would rather have. For me is Female all the way. I have yet to see a male that could keep up with a really quick female. I know sometimes that speed will kill you in a hunt, lol, but I like having it, you never know when you will need it. Imagine five minutes lefted in the hunt, your down by 50 and are struck in for first and the leader strikes in for 75 and there driving a track and you know you have a speed demon on the end of your leash, to me theres no feeling no better when they load up ten to twenty seconds ahead of the pack and all that is left is plussing it up, lol. Like I said sometimes speed kills you and that struck in for 25 is laughing when everyone take minus on a slick and slips up and wins the cast. Anyhow, I guess what I'm asking is whats favorite type dog and why?

males have always started quicker for me never seen many females
in sports that could keep up with the males granted sometimes males
get bigger than planned never seen a center keep up with a guard.

p.s granted with all the stud dogs who ever controls the bitches
control the breed.

In my experience the females start quicker and have more ability than the males but are less consistent. The good males I have had were more consistent night to night but on their good nights the females were better.
