hunting in the summer????

I have 2 pups and I want to hunt this summer but I know with all the leaves on the trees I wont be able to find most of the coons . My question is would hunting my pups like this promote them to slick tree more because I tend to pet my pups up on the tree. Any suggestions...just dont want to mess up some good pups

If the coon is up the tree it will look most of the time just dim your light down and use a red lens and don't use a tight sopt on your light to shine the tree with

No!!!!
Lack of praise doesn't cause problems. Over praising and praising when there is no coon can cause huge problems.
Also, even I find most of them if they are there and I am the worst I know at finding them.
Take a vow to work harder a finding them.
