problem with tri tronics

sent my trash breaker to tri tronics for repairs on 5-26-2011 no range 200 yards line of sight. 200 repair bill with 6 months warrenty.10-28 2011 sent back in with very little use 3-4 times.same problem. FIXED AGAIN UNDER WARRENTY ?. was told 6 months warrenty on repairs. guess what 2-1-2012 four months later same problem with very very little use because of bad weather. TRI TRONICS SAYS NO WARRENTY. i think they never fixed it the first time. almost all season with no shocker. very dissatisfied. my next equipment purchase.SPORT DOG.

I've had tri tronics products for years and all I ever did to them was charge them. I love mine! Made in America too.

I switched to sportdog a couple years ago because of similar problems with tri tronics customer service, they acted like they never produced a bad unit. Sportdog has been great to deal with, if you have a problem they just send you a new one no questions asked ever and they told me to just go ahead and keep the bad one in case i needed parts in the future.

The older Tri-tronics units had MUCH better range and reliability. The newer G2 & G3 units barely reach 400 yds.

My next buy will be Sportdog.

I dont think any of them get the range they advertise but i will say that with my sportdog if i can hear em i can hit em and thats good enough for me.

Jackson 87 before you buy I will show you my sportdog , not going to bash the other but have had more than 1 of them and so has alot of other people, and there is a reason for that. They used to be the best.
