for 2 years in a row our state assocaition has not followed the by laws in electing officers. seems like only the minority has a problem with this. what would yall do if this was the case in your state.

WHY HAVE RULES AT ALL IF YOU DON'T USE THEM??? IF THE MAJORITY WANTS TO USE A DIFFERENT METHOD THAN WHAT IS OUTLINED IN THE BYLAWS, THEN THOSE RULES SHOULD BE AMENDED, NOT IGNORED!!! EVERY SET OF BYLAWS SHOULD HAVE A WRITTEN PROCESS TO GUIDE THE AMENDMENT PROCESS!!! DOES THE ASSOCIATION ANSWER TO A LARGER ENTITY??? IF SO, THEN ATTENTION SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THIS MATTER!!! 'MAJORITY RULE' BECOMES 'MOB MENTALITY' WHEN THERE ARE NO RULES!!!

Dawg it would be easier ask if there is any part of the by-laws that they are folowing! The newly elected FL State President said "forget the dam by-laws lets just do this for now."
Nobody there knows Roberts Rules of Order or even heard of such a thing. It is a joke!
The UKC has no say so and doesnt really care one way or another. I think they should see that the numbers are way down this year because of last years fiasco and are gonna be even worse next year.
Something needs to be done about itbut like Rance said we are the minority. The majority just say heck with it and dont support the State Association any more.
