I just bought one from Conkley hunting supply and he threw in free shipping, a map card and a pouch for no extra.

Just make sure however you get it you are able to keep the warranty (1 year). I don't know if that means they have to be an authorized dealer or not. You can buy the unit straight from Garmin for $599, but their site says 3-5 week processing period.

The cheapest place is www.erwincomp.com It is $538.95 with $7.95 for shipping for a grand total of $546.90. But if you call some of the dealers like Conkey or Valley Creek they will throw in a map card and a pouch which brings the value closer. I just purchased mine from Valley Creek it is worth a few more bucks for me to support a company that specifically supplies my hobby. JMO.

Search ebay. you can find em for $500 brand new. I got mine off there was a little woried cause it was my first big ebay purchase but it worked out great. I also just bought an extra collar for $200 from gun dog supply
