That's a hell of a good idea.
I've always hated the dog food, understand from sponsors, but I won't feed my dogs the crap that sponsors donate.
Trophies I think are cool the first year or for kids. I've donated a lot of trophies and medallions back to the clubs over the years. I like the plaques better (easier to store and hang) and have kept most all of them. Ribbons are about worthless.
Coffee mugs with club logos, shirts, jackets I like if classy and personalized to the clubs.
Art, that seems to be a hit. Coonhound art, carved antlers, etc may be hard to come by without donations, but a lot of people like those.
I really like clubs that put effort to be classy and have something nice for overall winners, even if I don't win, rather than spent to get everybody something tacky or useless.
NICE collars/leads, shock collars, roll cages, tuft foot, a NICE first aid kit are probably the things I like to win the most. Stuff that can be used. I know a lot of people that really liked snazzy leather leads (seen them braided out of kangaroo and deer/elk).
In this day and age gas cards, gift certificates, and cash is probably more appreciated. Especially if it is from a national corp or cash. It is kind of wasteful to drive 600 miles to an event and win a dinner for two at a place that is 20 miles the opposite direction as home. Locals may frequent the area, but those who travel don't.
A little help for gas does go a long ways! That is something I haven't won or seen offered around these parts. Maybe if you can get a local motel to donate a couple one night gift certificates if your hunts are such where people have to travel. (I'd definitely come back to support a club if I won a free night stay! Just one night break in hotel fee is a huge bonus for those who have to travel)
Just some ideas.
