Can the DC40 collars be updated?

Can the DC40 Garmin Collars be updated using the web updater on the Garmin website.If so how do you do it.

yeah, they up date though the hand held you do not have to connect to the computer.

Just from what I've heard that works with the 320 but not the older 220.

Sam I've updated my DC 40's.Go to garmins web site and there should be directions on how to do it.If there's not let me know.

Hook your astro to the computer and go to the web updater.
On the hand held go to the collar page " Dog Page" where you can change the dogs name and see battery life on the collar.
Hit the menu button
At the bottom of the list you will see "Upgrade Dog Unit " select that and continue with the web updater.


The 320 can update the collar without being hooked to the computer or having to use the web updater but the hand held must have to updates first.
The 320 hand held updates just like the 220 does..

Thanks Jason, and the rest of you guys for the advice.I,ll give it a try I know how to hook up to the web updater. I have updated my handheld. I just wasn,t sure how to update the DC 40 collar.
