What kind did you get? I need to get one to run more than one thing at a time.

Bill.......a router can be hooked up to your main internet connection....then if you have a 2nd puter like a laptop that is capable of making a wireless connection , it will automatically connect to your router and u can sit in any room in the house and be on the internet..........thats what he b talkin bout.....

it is a easy reader .You down load books in it or surf the web- face book .Anything you would do on a computer you can do on a Kindle Fire, Kinda like a I-Pad

With the wireless router, you can even go outside or even next door with computer still connected. Makes things easy around here, as it's easier to walk across yard with laptop to show my aunt something than trying to explain it . An added bonus is your phone can hook up through router saving Data fees that you use on the phone's network connections.... sure helps when computer goes down.

All I got to say is, Make sure you lock your wireless conection and put a password on. Any body within 100 yds. can use your connection and download whatever they want and you will get the bill.

changes

hillbilly.....if u have a password for your puter, it is specific to the computer and it's functions only.......the router password is for internet access and if you invent a password it will ask for it each time u go to use internet web access......else you dont need one, but it leaves open access to any user with wi-fi computer capabilities to use your system to go on the internet, I could park down the road a piece from yer house and get on the internet w/ my laptop thru yer system cuz is not passcode protected..........make sense ?
