OFF TOPIC/// Nissan Frontier???

Anybody have a Nissan Frontier 4x4 Crew Cab?
Do you like it? What fuel mileage do you get? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

06 frontier 4x4 V6. I get 22 hwy/19 town/hwy. Love it. Short bed can't fit a big dog box. It is only about 38 inches between fender wells if i remember right but they are great trucks.

tough truck

Got a 01 model, bought with 30,000 miles on it. after all the hunting done out of it ended up selling last month with 260,000 miles on it. No major problems just routine maintenance. Would recommend them to anybody.

98-04 models you really dont see any problems with beside not being able to keep the steering components from wearing out really fast with alot use in the woods(every 20k in some cases). Fuel pump ever so often. They still had alot of influence from the Hardbody (86.5-97) models still with them.

05+ Where do you start? How bout the horrible turning radius. Trans cooler in the Radiator bust and run water thru your trans and you dont even know it(Trans and Radiator Time). The IPDM craps out and leaves you stranded at the worst possible time. WHEN the Catalytic Converters go out thats 3k worth of repairs. Plastic Breaks on the Timing Chain tensioners and causes an awful whining noise, and I charge 18 hours plus parts to repair. You do the math.

Do your research! Toyota offers a FAR Superior Truck for the money. I have owned and worked on both extensivly. This is my opinion.
