i was out with my pup for our night walk just before dark as we do every night. at the edge of the corn he opend up on a track and started pulling on the leash. this was a good open locate that i have not heard before. well i let him of the lead and he took off like a shot..went about 250 yards and started to "tree" lol. i have never put a caged coon in front of him at all just a few dropped to older dogs and let him get in and chew a bit, and have done alot with drag hides. he sounded very good and clear on this cold night lol. didnt have a light or anything with me but he sure looked like he had the meat lol. not bad for a pup almost 5 months..took a vid and will post later. not much to see but sounds good lol. this is a new pic of him

Yankee hit it on the head. Tequila Cane. Have been around a lot of hounds over the years and this is one of the fastest starters I have seen. Would love to get a female from Cane sometime lol
