Shock Collar usage>>>

Sitting here with a few min. to browse the hunting dog sites and was kinda noticing how some guys/girls seem to think that a shock collar is the way to fix any problem that a dog has. example: My dog is treeing and leaving-use S C, My dog comes in to tree with other dogs-use S C, My dog packs to much-use S C, ect. I think (jmo) a shock collar should be used for very few things during the training of a young dog. Putting a handle on a dog and maybe trash breaking although a good handle can solve the second one. I just think there's still no substitute for plain ole get em in the woods and wear out a couple pair of boots. jmo. Like to hear what some of you think.
