Whats the hunting like at Winter Classic?

This will be my first year and I was wondering what it was like down there? Thin coon? Swamps?

most of it depends on your luck in the draw for a guide. The year I went we hunted off the grounds at a plantation and had great hunting but a buddy of mine ended up a huge swamp. we had a great time while there so goodluck and have fun!!!!

Good coon population with a great population in spots. WET. Bring waders and plenty of dry clothes.

Hunting there can be really easy walking, or some very rough walking. Its like anywhere you go in the country, it all depends on who you draw as a guide. Most places there, the guides have you on coons, if they are moving. I'd say the majority of casts will come back with plus column occupied.

.....what Robert said, exactly...........you draw a plantation with a good network of roads and small wet weather ponds, you're not gonna walk to much.................you draw a huge river swamp, well, make sure you pack some chest waders or dry clothes, or both.........most places have plenty or coon either way........
