need opinions on chaps

looking to buy some new chaps, my old ones have about had it. whats the best one on the market to buy? My old ones lasted a couple seasons and i would like to have a pair a little longer than just two seasons. Give me some brand names and website links.

Well im not sure about a particular brand or where to buy some from, but i bought some snake chaps 3 or 4 years ago and they are holding up great. i havent had a problem with them and they are tough. i think they are white water or something like that. i dont remember where i got them from. they are heavier than regular briar chaps. but anywho to sum this up. just go and find some snake chaps and they will should last alot longer than briar chaps and they are just as good at busting through thickets.

if by "snake" chaps you are reffering to "snake proof" chaps thats what my last one were briar proof and snake proof

Best chaps I have post wicks was Tims......now that being said people have had poor experiences with them and they take a while to get. The ones I had made were fantastic and I like them as much as my wicks. Everything else I have had were more or less wet noodles on your legs. Good luck, Ron

yes i need them attached to the boots but thanks for the suggestions keep em coming. what about valley creek on muck boots? anyone have luck with them? Ron J im a broke college kid so 250$ is way out of range lol looking for something more in the 1-150 range but thanks amyways!

I have the valleycreek heavyweights on muck boots, usually get about 2 years out of a set, the chaps will outlast theboots.
