I sure do

I got one and love it cheap and little I like the fact that with the sling when carrying the barrel doesn't get hung on vines like the full-size ones do when the hounds take you to them thick places for the hide!!

GOTTA LOVE IT!

mine had a peep sight. In the day time it was great and I could hit really really good. At night , holding a flashlight and trying to shine through that peep sight was near impossible. I couldn't hit nothing with it at night.

File off the top part of the peep sight and make a dove tail sight out of it, works like a champ and you can sight it in and shoot at night. I carry mine in a WICK soft pouch tracker sling, carry it all night and hardly even know you have it on.

Like the gun , don't like the scope.

I had one with a scope, nice little gun but not even close to the Thompson center hotshot!!!I sold the cricket and now carry the hotshot ,the guns are the same size, same weight, but the t,c is built ten times better than the cricket and you can punch holes in holes and also load it with gloves on your not loading the cricket with gloves on!

buddy of mine has one. I hate that gun I have large hands and have trouble loading it and you may as well forget about hitting a coon farther than 30 yards. I love the hotshot but cant justify spending 200 dollars on a single shot .22. I carry a ruger 10/22 with a bsa red dot scope during kill season (that gun is deadly at up to 60 yards I WON'T everycarry another rifle during kill season) and a rossi break action .22 with a red dot during CB time. in my opinion the rossi is well worth the extra 25 dollars. you gain accuracy and ease of loading. the bad is you gain a few ounces of weight but the gun comes tapped and has sling taps already installed.

I have one, like it a lot. Cheap so I don't have to worry about scratching it up or letting it rust. Have to have a good eye to shoot it but so far so good. Only weighs a couple pounds so it beats the heck out of packing a Ruger 10/22 or something like that around.

I have shot coon out from as far as 50 yards with mine. Shoots any kind of shells.

I've had mine for years and love it. I got the scope cricket makes for it and have never had a problem with the gun or the scope. Hunting buddies shoot it too and I've never had any complaints.

cricket

I bought one a few years back. I hunted with it one night and it went back in the closet. Worst little gun I have ever tried to use for coon! The cricket is next to impossible to load quickly in the dark and when you get a coon moving around in the top of a big pine that second shot is very important. I have a 10/22 and a savage bolt action. During kill season I'll carry one of them. The cricket is useless.

Good gun

I have one and love it! I put the scope cricket sells on it and I shoots like a dream!!! Left it in dogbox and gets bounced around and never had to re-sight it in works just the same! I actually hunted with a friends 10/22 last night and got so annoyed with that I handed him the gun back and he cussed it out... Funny thing he can't wait to pick up his cricket he ordered at the gun shop this week!!! :-) JMO

cricket

I had one about the day they came out, never shot. I traded it and and a six volt nightlite and a pup of my breeding and $75 for a so called highclass pup out of ---- Creek----0. That pup was a deer chaser so I traded him off to a deer hunter Uncle for a roll of heavy duty six foot chainlink fence he probably acquired (stole) off a jobsite. My uncle was very proud of him and every Sunday he would tell me how good the pup was. One Sunday after church he gave me a look like I had cheated him. He told me the dog got to treeing coons in the middle of the day and drive and that he had given him to a coon hunter. I am yet to figure out if my Uncle was stupider than me or me than him. But at least I have had a good chainlink fence dog pen that has lasted me good for 35 years so I am not complaining.

Been carrying one for as long as I can remember. The first one was a wooden stock with a cheap 4x scope. I fell backwards on it and busted the post holding it to the stock. Zip tied it to the stock for 2 years until I finally bought a new one with composite stock and red dot scope. It got tossed in the weeds one night when a vehicle came up the road and was gone the next morning. I put a cheap red dot on the one I have now(rifle and scope are 5 years old) and wouldn't trade it for anything. EXTREMELY light weight and accurate. I have had people complain about shells not extracting.....CLEAN THE DANG RIFLE!!!!!

I don't carry a rifle at all. I carry a ruger mark III pistol in a holster. Totally hands free, light, got 10 shots (not that I usually need more than a couple), and can hit with accuracy out to 30-40 yds. If someone else goes with me, I ask them if they want to do the shooting before we leave the truck. If they say yes I tell them that's fine but they got to carry the gun. I have them carry a ruger 10/22 because it takes some practice to be good with the pistol. Either way I don't have to fight a rifle of any kind through the woods.
